Teach by Role and Context

This workflow shows how HotRoute supports role-aware teaching so the same concept can land differently for the people who need to act on it.

What this workflow is

Teach by Role and Context is about matching the explanation to the learner. Football staff rarely need a single generic version of a concept. Different roles need different slices of the same truth.

When teams use it

This workflow matters when the organization needs to:

  • tailor the same concept for different roles
  • emphasize timing and situational relevance
  • avoid overwhelming people with detail they do not need yet
  • connect teaching to actual decision contexts instead of abstract notes

How the product areas connect

This workflow leans most heavily on Learning and Cognition, but it also depends on Design and Optimization to define what is being taught and on Collaboration and Memory to preserve the organization’s language and reasoning over time.

Why this matters

The staff is not successful because it produced materials. It is successful when the right people can use the right idea in the right moment.

That is why context matters. A concept taught without regard for role, situation, or timing often feels comprehensive on paper and ineffective in practice.
